Tenor saxophonist Hans Dulfer sets the tone with his music since 1955. In addition to being a saxophonist, he became a band leader, composer, father of Candy, concert organizer, radio maker, car salesman, list pusher, record boss, columnist, professional anarchist, co-founder of the Bimhuis, co-programmer of the North Sea Jazz Festival and director of pop temple Paradiso. He has received platinum and gold for his CDs, the Wessel Ilcken Prize, the Bird Award, the Andreas Medal and has been appointed Knight in the Order of the Netherlands Lion.
