Twenty-five spies are on the table. One player from each team knows which ones belong to his team. Will he manage to give one-word clues so that his team point out the right one and they make contact with all their spies first? Contents: - 16 spy cards in two suits - 1 double spy card - 7 innocent bystander cards - 40 key cards - 1 game rules - 1 standard cards; - 1 hourglass - 200 cards with 400 code names In Codenames, two rival secret services know the secret identities of the 25 spies. Their teammates only know these spies by their code name.

Both teams compete with each other and try to be the first to make contact with their spies. Each head of the Secret Service gives clues by mentioning one word relating to multiple words on the table. His teammates try to guess the words of their color without identifying the opponent's spies. And of course everyone wants to stay away from the hit man.

A unique word game, where players have to look for associations with words. Try to come up with a clue with one word that refers to several words on the table, so that your fellow players can quickly score many points.
High replayability: 400 different words of which only 25 are used in a game, so the associations that players can make will always be different!

A game for two teams (of unlimited size), it also includes rules for 2 or 3 players.

A real Dutch version! Not a 1-on-1 translation of the International version, but… words that are unique to the Netherlands and Belgium (place names, culture, food and drink), words that have multiple meanings in Dutch and Flemish and words that are used in our language. speak the imagination or fit into different categories.
