The Chanin Building in New York City was built in the late 1920s by Irwin S. Chanin. The lobby, which represented some of the city's finest Art Deco styles, was styled around a "City of Opportunity" concept. With a geometric design symbolizing human thought and emotion, a bronze fan grid is reproduced here from the building.
